WINTHROP, Mass. — An 84-year-old Eastern Boston guy is facing car murder charges in an accident that eliminated a lady in Winthrop on Friday, authorities said.
Kenneth Thompson is billed with automobile murder, running intoxicated of alcohol and failing to quit/yield, authorities said.
Winthrop public safety dispatchers received several 911 phone telephone calls at about 3:30 p.m. on Friday about a two-car accident at the intersection of Hagman Roadway and Walden Road.
When first -responders arrived to the scene, they found a lady that had been driving a Jeep experiencing from critical injuries.
First -responders performed lifesaving measures on the lady, that was taken by rescue to Massachusetts Basic Medical facility, where she was pronounced dead. She has not been determined.
A initial examination by Winthrop Authorities found that a Hyundai Elantra taking a trip northbound on Hagman Roadway, owned by Thompson, collided with the Jeep, taking a trip on Pauline Road towards Woodside Opportunity, at the intersection of Pauline Road, Hagman Roadway and Walden Road.
The accident remains under examination by the Winthrop Authorities Division, the Specify Authorities Accident Restoration Group, and detectives designated to the Suffolk Region Area Attorney’s Workplace.
